Ray’s Hardware is still going strong. They don’t have all the nice old guns they displayed back in the eighties. But I picked up a nice MDL 18 from them this year and at a good price. .

My wife gave me one a few months ago.I really like it and even the orange scales do not bother me. It has replaced my g10 butterfly for edc and I really like that Spiderco .

Family can be pretty terrible when a deceased relatives belongings get dispersed. My very elderly father just amended his will to insure I get all his guns and ammo related items. I was not too worried about my siblings but their wives are an unknown quality.
