    9 vs. 40 Shield

    Personally for a light weight carry gun I would always choose the 9mm over the .40 caliber round. More capacity, less recoil, easier to control, better accuracy. It's a no Brainer. In a full size pistol I would probably still choose the 9mm over the .40 since I really don't like the .40...

    Where did you get the drop in barrel? I would be interested in one of those in .40 caliber to drop in my 9mm. Yes, it can go both ways. The frame is basically the same. ;)

    You might have ended up with one of the MA. models. The state of Massachusetts requires a 10lbs trigger pull. An APEX trigger kit will fix that.
