    Thanks for the info everyone! Just what I wanted to hear, I like the fact that the trigger is so close to a service M-4. This weapon should help do the the trick for me, looks like I will be headed to the local gun shop this weekend!

    I was considering purchasing a M&P 15-22 as low cost training weapon. I am aware of the differences in dimensions and obviously the recoil of a 5.56 is much greater than that of a 22lr. My question is other than those differences how does the M&P compare to an AR/ M-4? I am especially interested...

    Hi everyone! New to the forum currently here in wa state, own a few weapons but only one s&w a 9mm sigma. I love the sigma and is my every day carry. I am looking into purchasing a m&p 40 and the new m&p 15-22.
