Congrats on the 686!! I have the same revolver and it's a blast, literally. I like the versatility of being able to shoot .38spl.,.38spl+ and .357mag. Good way to help with flinch control.... toss a few .357mag rounds in with the .38spl.
New to the forum but not to shooting. My first firearm was a 625-8 then my next a 686+. I sold the 625-8, which I totaly regret, but tomorrow get to pick up a 625JM:D. I shoot ICORE and there is just something about shooting a S&W revo that just make shooting a whole lot funner.
