Wonder if its possible someone spent time firing 44 special in the gun leaving a carbon ring in the chambers that would not allow proper seating of magnum cartridges?
The issue was that the gun might fire during during the de-cocking procedure............. and some did.
From that point I will never de-cock with out manually controlling when the the hammer falls. Even after having the gun recalled & returned.
So I am watching the movie Blue Steel staring Jamie Lee Curtis.
The bad guy is reloading his revolver. This is what you see as he drops new cartridges in the cylinder. Then he fires the gun.
My 2010 barrel came with 4 tapped holes You should be able to see the heads of the screws in the pic below. The adaptor is a Weigand. (173094)
This is a Weaver adaptor it cost much less than the Wiegand. Maybe I should have turned it over for the Pic?
Lets say the cause is a way overcharged cartridge.
What is it when 3 chambers of the revolver are exposed and the top strap of the revolver dissapears.................What causes the damage to the empty brass cases adjacent to the expolding fired round?
My beloved 625-8. If I tighten up the ejector rod enough so it will not come loose the cylinder resists spinning and the rod doesn't work freely.
What should I do?
Pic is with Auto Rim ammo.
Thanks
