I feel cross draw is the way to go. If you carrying at the 9 o'clock position for a right hand draw your doing it wrong. the holster should be at close to the 11 o'clock so that the weapon's grip is pointing across your body and in a completely natural position for grabbing with your strong...
Hey Guys,
I work on MIT as the manager of a small supermarket. Sean frequented the store grabbing nick nacks from time to time. He seemed a nice enough guy and he was always pleasant to me or my staff. We closed our store this morning because of the lockdown and I personally delivered a whole...
You know i seen Hickock45 using one in one of his videos the other day and had no idea what the hell it was! So thank you for the suggestion.
It's a pretty ingenious system.

Nice one Sen!
My crimson trace laserguard just arrived today for it, but it turned out to be faulty. They are sending me a replacement. Kind of disappointed.

I do carry the S&W 1911 pro series sub compact in the first picture, in a carjacker crossdraw holster. I just realized with Summer around the corner I would like something I can just throw into a pants pocket if i am wearing shorts.

Carry a single mag in my pocket. My understanding is that with most defensive shootings there is no reloading involved or if there is, it usually doesn't go well.
I figure its better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

I put 200 rounds through it and I did not get even the slightest hint of a problem. The only thing I could possibly complain about was the magazines were a little difficult to load, maybe I just have weak hands:p
Your exactly right about a great carry gun for the warm weather and it's the...
I gave it a good cleaning when I got it home and then took it down the range yesterday. It shot flawlessly and with surprisingly little recoil, very comparable with my .380
Really nice firing pistol and very comfortable with the extended 7 round mag in it.

Hey Everyone 0/
Went to the gun store yesterday with the intention of buying a 1911sc to match, my pro series sub compact.
Well being the impulsive nut that I am, I walked out with a Kahr PM9 instead. Something about this little gun really called out to me.
I got it to the range today and...
I have a p229 and I can confirm that a barrel change is all you need to be good to go with either round. Magazine stays the same.
It's a screamer of a round and my favourite calibre although ammo is a bit pricey these days.
