I just practiced with 240gr hollowpoints. It's not a gun you want to practice with all day but I would shoot half a box at each practice session. Putting on the x-frame grip helped alot with recoil. It's a great carry gun. I didn't even feel the recoil when I shot that deer.

I have a 329PD and I don't like all of the white writing on the sides of the gun. Is there a way to remove this without damaging the finish?

I put the X-Frame grips on mine and shoot 240gr .44 magnum factory hollow points. Sure, it recoils but nothing like the majority of people on this website seem to think it does. It is a great gun to carry all day. I use a Galco summer special IWB with mine.

I already had them order it and put money on it so I am buying it for sure. I understand it will hurt to shoot it but I don't plan on an all day range session with it either. However if the need ever comes where I need it to save my life, recoil will be the last thing on my mind.

Well, I ordered the Meprolight ML22771 adjustable night sights from Brownells and the 294670000 grips from Smith and Wesson. I will let you guys know in a couple of weeks on how it turns out.
