I agree with hkcavalier, 5" 629-6. Haven't had any issues, I know people don't like the newer guns, but mine has been 100% trouble free since I bought it. I reload and have gone up and down the power factor/fun/comfort scale a couple of times trying to figure out what it liked and what I liked...

I've used H110 mostly with the 500 with no problems, although I have also used Unique for reduced power loads for friends that want to shoot it for the first time. YMMV.

Lymans 49th has some "reduced" loads using Unique powder. I haven't tried them yet, but i might since I can only shoot a few cylinders worth of rounds using H110 before the frame and barrel get too hot to touch and nobodies got time for that.

I finally received the collet crimp die, loaded and fired 100 rounds with zero issues. Thanks again for all your responses, having everthing work as it should really enhances my enjoyment of this gun.

I ordered Lee a collet style crimp die off of eBay for $15.00. I'll report back after it arrives and I can try it. Thanks again for the help.
