Walther PP: What should I know about 'em

.32 are more fun for shooting. The .380s carry a premium. Anything pre-wwii as well. The .32 PPs really are pleasant if you're already into the caliber or don't mind adding it.

617 no dash 4 in. help on selling

I disagree. GB is still a great place to sell and reach a massive audience. Common pieces are not what to push here as you're better off trying to do local sales via armslist and play the waiting & tire-kicker game, but the less commons with fantastic pics move on GB. The fees are pretty low...

617 no dash 4 in. help on selling

I don't typically bid with sellers that have under 5 feedback or whom aren't verified especially if asking top dollar. I, myself, only have about a dozen score but 2 or 3 didn't even come back to leave their review. Most of them you have to borderline harass in return for the feedback. I also...

Model 19-5 2.5" CT State Police value?

Nice 19! And thanks for bringing up an old thread to rub salt in the wounds! Your revolver, however, does not look to be a matte finish as was the AYY 19 I used to have unless it's just a flash from your pics. The AYY was a real matte blue like the Model 28 possesses, while yours appears...

SPF F2F on other Forum S&W 437-2 Snub

Have for sale a S&W 437-2 Snubnose. Just need to fund another project. Put a handful of rounds through it and it's a fine shooter. This DA/SA revolver is a limited distributor exclusive from Acusport in matte blue rated for 38spl +P from Smith & Wesson. Like new and in the box with lock and...

    I just contracted humpback disease

Great, OP. Contracted a disease I didn't even know existed because of you...Humpbackalitis. :D Hope it's ok to revive your thread. Wanted to share "Two-Face" with you and the forum. I cleaned her up and threw on a set of two-fingers that were a spare set to my 437 I recently acquired...

    I just contracted humpback disease

I went back and had more time today. Took off the Hogue grip and was surprised to see it was in great shape underneath. Had the clerk remove a sideplate hex screw to see if Joe Blow just threw one in or actually knew what he was doing a bit. Amazed to see the screw was the correct size and...

    I just contracted humpback disease

Found a 49 in semi-rough shape in the LGS. They'll take $225 for it. The left side has finish wear like something (sweat?) was left on it and removed later to cause bluing loss in several spots roughly tip of pen size. I'm tempted to buy it, but it's definitely been messed with internally as...

    Hindsight is 20/20

I've thought about buying a Python more than once. Even held a few examples and could have been into a decent blued 4" one last year for about $1400 total with a trade that I was "up" on. I passed because it was revolver only, no box, and not MINT. I just can't get over spending that money...

    M&P.40 Converted To 9mm

Did I say no one has ejection issues? I was speaking of my own experience. Guess I'll stick to providing my input on ARF and not provide any hands-on insight to s&wf. Sounds like purely conjecture is sufficient here.

    M&P.40 Converted To 9mm

Honestly, mine makes the neatest pile of brass of any of my pistols at 3 o'clock.

I got me a "NEW" shooter!! Model 15-6

15s are helluva nice shooters. I've gone through a lot of Smiths, but won't let go of my 15. It's a special treat at the range. Enjoy.
