    ISO: SW22 STL Grip Files

I am wondering if anyone has a link for Victory grips to print. New to 3D drawing and printing, and don’t have the skills to fully design a set.

    Help Identify This Baseplate

Hmm.... Interesting. Looks like a fit to me. Does anyone make a magazine extension to fit the 10 round compact magazines?

    Help Identify This Baseplate

My Dad was sent these by mistake from S&W. I have no clue what they are for, but would really like to know. It is too wide to fit into a series 59 magazine. If there is anything that I need to elaborate on just let me know. Thanks for the help.

    J-frame questions

The only reason that I would get a 340 is because of the interchangeable front sight. They is just a small reason, otherwise go with a 442/642 and save the money for practice ammo and enjoy.

    J-frame questions

I love my 442. The finish is wonderful, and holds up better that my parkerized 1911. Great gun that is accurate, if you practice, and will go bang every time. 20 shots offhand at 25 feet- Isn't the frame aluminum, but the barrel and cylinder stainless steel?

    M&P 9mm Question

Thanks. Wasn't sure if it was a CNC error or what. Thanks for the help.

    M&P 9mm Question

My father recently purchased a S&W M&P 9C. While picking up the brass from the first range visit we noticed that the primers had a strange shape after firing. After field stripping we noticed that there is an interesting gouge underneath the firing pin hole. Not sure if it's a machining error or...

    Hodgdon HS-6

I used HS-6 for a while. In my 5" 1911 it was getting incomplete burns. It meters quite well with any powder measure, because of the small flakes. I have been using Titegroup lately. Same size flake as HS-6, but to me it's much better than HS-6. More complete burning = cleaner, and will load to...

    Wanted, your advise on J-frames

I have a 442-2 as an everyday carry piece. I am a younger guy, and don't care much for the Tupperware pistols (although the M&P is growing on me). The trigger pull is heavy so I put in a Wolf spring kit, and what a difference it makes in an already awesome trigger pull. This caused light primer...

    442 Firing Pin (length?)

I bought a 442-2 a couple of months ago. I decided to get a spring kit from wolf (lighter hammer and lighter trigger return springs). Had some really light primer strikes but no failure to fire. Since this was a possible concealed carry gun I decided to get an extended firing pin from Cylinder...

    1911 advice please

I purchased a Springfield Armory Mil-Spec earlier this year. It had to go back 3 times for repair and 2 times parts were mailed to me. Again you get what you pay for. Mine was $585, and was exactly what I wanted and could afford. SA did have great customer service, but so does S&W.

    442 Shooting Low and Right

Fed-Ex is picking it up tomorrow morning.

    442 Shooting Low and Right

I am right handed. My Dad was also at the range so I had him shoot it. His shots hit in the exact same place. I shot his 357 revolver without problems. It's not conclusive either way, but the probability that it is the shooter is lower. After a through inspection my father noticed that the...

    442 Shooting Low and Right

I just bought my first S&W a couple of weeks ago. It's a 442 with a lawyer lock. I plan on using it for concealed carry eventually. The trigger pull is wonderful, and the accuracy is great. I didn't expect too much from a snub nose, but was thoroughly impressed. I went to the range and started...

    Article on lead production...good read.

Zinc and Lead Mining in United States - Overview Thanks for posting the article Andy Griffith. With the Obama Pricing Plan still in effect and supply shortening, things will get more expensive.
