I use 4.4 grains of WIN 231 when I load 158 grain LSWC and 4.9 grains when I load 158 grain Jacketed bullet.

I have been using 158 gr. jacketed SWC for 15 years. I have been using 11.6 gr. of blue dot with zero problems noted shooting primarily a 686.
