Ok, after oiling it up and dry firing it still hangs up occasionally, but if I slightly wiggle the cylinder it resets. Wonder if this narrows down the cause of the problem...

Opened up the sideplate to take a look, it's dry as a bone. Could this be causing the issue? Put some oil on all the parts and put it back together.
