    Are These Cokes?

But don't the diamond target grips have the larger checkering pattern but not the palm swell? I usually make my determination by a rear view of the grips looking for the palm swell AFTER I see the larger checkering pattern.

    Are These Cokes?

I need a second (+) opinion. Do these grips look like Cokes?

    Any Weatherby Fans Here?

The trigger housing is made of pot metal so, with time, they crack and fall apart. I don't believe the 22 had this issue. It was just the Mark V rifles.

    Any Weatherby Fans Here?

I inherited a Weatherby Mark V .224 Magnum Varmintmaster from my father several years ago. It now has the self-destructing trigger issue that it is known for and I am looking for a solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Help with ID on this, appears to be unfired...no paperwork with it, 27877 Ser# barrel 3 3/8" 22LR

They obviously didn't know what they had so hopefully you got it for the "I don't know what I have" price.

    Grip Question

Would 1973 vintage magnas have a black or silver washer? After checking the SCSW 5th and looking on Gunbroker, I believe that they should have black washers. Thanks

    Found a nice 27-2 with a 3.5" barrel

    Local gun shop. Thanks!

    Found a nice 27-2 with a 3.5" barrel

I found a nice 27-2 with a 3.5" barrel today for a lot cheaper than they are going for on Gunbroker. Serial number is N163XXX, so it should have been born around 1973-1974. I often see the older revolvers wearing newer grips. This previous owner went in the other direction.

    Smith & Wesson Blued Finishes

So, if I understand you correctly, all 1973 vintage Model 29-2 revolvers went through the same blueing process?

    Smith & Wesson Blued Finishes

Did Smith & Wesson ever produce more than one type of blue finish? There was a recent online sale of a very nice (1973 production) Model 29-2 in a presentation case. The ad read "high polished blue finish". This revolver brought, what I thought to be a substantial premium, and I am trying to...

    Flea Market 29-2

Wow, nice job! I would not have thought you could bring one back that nice.
