    .44 special ammo WOWSER!!!!

Hate to be negative, but it's everything. Bullets, reload supplies, what used to be cheap firearms, holsters, gasoline, my wife, my kids, and anything that I seem to be buying now. Only thing got cheaper is my income. I stocked up many years ago on .22's both guns and bullets and that's about...

    Handling lead bullets

Old copy of ABC's of Reloading also states to refrain from smoking after reloading if you haven't washed up. Remember being a stupid kid and biting fishing sinkers to close them up on the line. Don't do that anymore.

    Ammo buying habits

I'm lucky, I started buying some extra .22's when they started all their panic tv shows about the Mayan end of the world junk. Getting out of shooting

My kids just wish I would give up shooting. Unfortunately for them, they don't get my guns until after I go to the great beyond.

Good & bad news about ammo buying at Cabelas today

If that guy had plenty of ammo, what was he doing in the ammo area of cabela's for? Some people crave way to much attention IMHO.

    A question about pistol ammo.

Looking in my ABC's of reloading by Dean Grennal, he goes into quite a bit of details about different bullet shapes and their performance out of handguns. I found out a lot I didn't know. Worth checking out if you get a chance.

Extractor rod too tight! Can't unthread it!

I just take the cylinder assembly off the frame and clean it really well once and a while. No since making it any harder than you have to.

    brass quality between major suppliers

Most of my .40 is range recovery. Only problem I've noticed was reloading Blazer brass I found. Primers would reseat way to easy so now I just toss it in the scrap bucket. I like Starline the best in general.

    New member-Hello from Arkansas

Hello all. I found your wonderful forum a couple of months ago and don't want to be an unknown lurker. I just purchased my first S & W revolver and have learned so much from you guys and gals. Thank you very much! I'll probably have some dumb new guy questions soon, so please bear with me.
