I have enough 22's for now but think this is a very fine gesture on the part ot these gentlemen. I hope it ends up with someone who really needs it. If not maybe they will pay it forward.
My first S&W purchase was at a gun show in Inianapolis back in 1980. Bought 2 nib w/papers and screwdrivers, cleaning kits. Model 19-4 snubbie and a model 66-1 snubbie. Still own both of them and the are just like I bought them.I think I paid $400 or $425 for the pair. Didn't know a lot about...
Went to a LGS today when I heard they had some CCI 22LR's in stock. Had a limit of 2 boxes per customer of 100 mini-mags
Noticed they had in stock 2 M&P 1522's cheaper than I have seen listed on gun broker.
It is starting to come down a little. There are .223 on gun brokers buy it now for .75 to .80 per round still high but better than a couple of weeks ago. Not any good bargins for 22LR unless you stumble in a Walmart with some.
Going thru and old stash of ammo this morning and found a box of Geco 9MM Luger Parabellum. It was a 50 round box but only has 45 left in it. Not sure where I picked this up or why as I don't own a 9MM. I know it is at least 20 years old and still looks fine. Manufactured in Germany. Does anyone...
I talked to a gentleman who works at the local Walmart ditribution center near here and he says they get ammo almost daily and it is sent to stores which usually sell it all in 1 to 2 days even with the 3 box limit.
I was going to comment that I have never had a problem with any Remington ammo. But after reading all of the comments it could be because I haven't bought any recently. I still have 900 rounds of 22LR HV and HV hollow points i purchased in 1981. All of my newer 22LR rounds are Fed and CCI. As...
Very many new buyers who have never owned firearms before buying anything they can find and lots of ammo. Plus all the people who have been here before stocking up.
I was in my LGS the day after Sandy Hook (it was packed to the gills). I was checking the price on a Bushmaster and a guy walked up...
I took a buy-out from my company after 35 years at the age of 54. Worked part time when I wanted and the hours I wanted until I could collect SS. No regrets at all. Had to purchase my health care until age 65which was the worst part, but would still do it again.
