Went back to see if he had any bites on the gun.

They are expensive. But once you get past the initial cost. You will love the gun.
If you don’t. You will be able to get your cost back out of it.

Just remember it’s a full lug gun and a little heavier...
Winchester 25-20 brass is available on gun broker. Right now. Not mine and don’t know them.

Is there another model that would work on the model 53. Such as a model 10.

And also case lube on the casings when you reload.
Dry cylinders / Dry shells less than top end loads. And most problems with cylinder lockup will go away.
