S&W had there chance and they blew it. I could never be 100% confident in the pistol. I flipped it for another G19. At least my Shield doesn't suck. Good luck to those of you experiencing these issues.

Thanks. Like I said, S&W is sending a new slide-catch assembly. Hopefully this fixes it. Also, they pick up the tab with the shipping. It's just incredibly frustrating.
