I prefer to have the original box and extras, and will pay extra to get the originals, but if it's a gun I really want, not having a box is not a deal breaker.
I also like to store my handguns in their boxes, they stack better in my safe and it helps protect my investment.
My guess is there are no backorders for the #14 manual because it is out of print and they are about to release a #15 Spear manual. With all the new powders being released, it seems like new editions are being released at a faster pace.

I carry a model 637 in my right front pocket when knocking around town, a CZ75B IWB with two spare mags when traveling out of town, and either a 629-6 or Super Blackhawk with 4 5/8" barrell when foot propelled.
When riding a 4-wheeler, anything short of a bazooka works for me.
I agree with the more table space. I think you'll find having your press on one table and scales on a seperate table works best. Looks like you can start stocking components anytime, though!
