    A primer/powder question from everyone's favorite Noob...

Thanks for the info guys... All primers and powder are now out of the safe. I'm going to put a lock on the desk though, as primers and powder are like gold around here......

    A primer/powder question from everyone's favorite Noob...

Hey guys... I recently added to my humble stockpile of primers and powder, and I am having some concerns about how to store this many primers and this much powder. With all of the guns and ammo in the safe, I really don't have the room for this stuff in there any more. Part of my reloading...

Thanks again for the help, guys! I will post a range report of my new (gradually developed) loads soon.

    Need some solid advice here.....

Thanks for all of the advice guys.... BTW, I DO only have one powder on my bench at a time; The rest are in my safe. (I also loaded up some .223 loads, which I loaded at the low end of the range per the manuals I had on hand.) FWIW, I only bought the TiteGroup because it was the only powder on...

    Need some solid advice here.....

Well, I DID go ahead an weigh a bunch of my stuff and here's what I came up with: The empty, primed case and the bullet weigh 226 grains. With 3.8 grains of TG, the total should be 229.8 grains. A majority of my loads were spot on. Some of my loads were slightly (-.2 grains) lighter...

Yep, I do have a couple of older reloading manuals, but they don't show TiteGroup in their loads with 158 SWC. 200 rounds were loaded. I assumed that the Hodgdon's data would be better than a bullet maker's data. I can tell you that from now on, I will seriously research my load data. Thanks...

    Need some solid advice here.....

Although I have been shooting for almost 35 years, I never jumped into the reloading pool......until now. I just bought my first press (single stage) along with some dies. I had been acquiring a small stockpile of components (bullets, powders, primers) and had been buying Unique for handgun...

    Revolver Not Shooting To POA?

Same with mine.... Takes a little getting used to, if you're used to a K-frame. Some of these can give a light primer strike as a result. Mine haven't, but I read about others that do.

    Revolver Not Shooting To POA?

Yep, that was me. All 4 of mine shot low/left with 158s. They seem to like the 125s.... Looks like you paid the extra $10 for the "hand select" units. Mine aren't nearly as pretty.

Taurus tried to clone the Model 10........

All of these have the frame-mounted pins. I'd rather have a proper hammer too.....

Taurus tried to clone the Model 10........

UPDATE with RANGE REPORT! Took all 4 model 82s to the pit and burnt about 400 rounds..... Oddly enough, (especially for a revolver so similar to the model 10) they all preferred 125 grain jacketed flat nose over the 158 grain lead. They shot POA with the 125s, but all shot about 2.5 inches...
