    Shield 9 Magazine Spring Issue

I have 3 (two 8's and a 7) magazines. All 3 of them are nearly impossible to hand load with the last round. It doesn't sound like S&W has an answer to the problem. Does anyone know of an after market magazine spring that allows for loading the last round?

    Shield magazines

I just brought my Shield 9 home and found the magazines a nightmare to load. They must have the strongest springs I have ever encountered. Is there a loader made that works well on the single stack magazines of the Shield? Thanks

Hello. I am new to the forum as you probably guessed. I have a S&W 6906 that I dearly love to shoot. It was issued to me as a carry weapon when I was a LEO, and given to me as a retirement gift when I retired in 1996. I have not been active in shooting until last year when my youngest son...
