I'm with you on it would be nice if the Full Sized M&P had the same safety as the Shield. 1000% Agree !!!

Here's what a Hogue looks like on a Full Size M&P 9/40 in case you want to compare it to a pic of a Pachmayr on one.

I EDC both a FS M&P 9 & a Glock 19 I used to carry my M&P Shield 9 as a bug but replaced it with the Glock.

I bought my Shield with a safety because I like having the two option's of either using it or not using it.

You can still operate the slide with the safety on.

From the amount of people that have posted about removing their TS there are a lot of us off our rockers ...lol

They didn't charge me for anything including the shipping both ways, It was gone a day or so short of two weeks, I have other guns to keep me company so no biggie with it being gone for two weeks, S&W really stands behind their Gun's.

I was talking about the THUMB SAFETY.

I would like to see a company come out with a thumb safety replacement that does not protrude as much as the stock safety does on the Full size and Compact... or at least one that was about half the length.

It was pretty hard to put on I boiled it a bit then sprayed a little bit of windex on the inside of it

It is #18400 ... #18403 is supposed to be the same grip but in the Flat Dark Earth color.

My brother has a FS M&P 9 built in Feb 2014, Mine FS M&P 9 was built in Mar 2016 and the trigger feels better on mine than his and I have been wondering why... Here is a picture of my trigger bar if that helps tell why mine is any different than his... .
