I have a JM and love it. It's one of three 625's in the safe.
Strangest thing about it, is the grip. I was prepared to hate it, but ended up really enjoying it.
There's no going wrong with any 625.
Interesting, I had to go look at the barrel of my XD 45, the case support looks like the barrel on the left of G-Mans pic.
Maybe Springfield modified the feed ramp of the XDM's to facilitate feeding?
I loaded the Hornady at first, because it was all that was available to me at the time. It had the Large Pistol primer pockets. I had too many problems with improper ignition.
I found Starline with the Large Rifle primer pockets and promptly trashed the Hornady.
I've been loading with RCBS for 16-17 years. Never had that kind of problem.
A morbid curiosity as to weather they were helpful or standoff-ish is what caused me to post.

I've had a Socom II for a few years now. It's digested nothing but my handloads using Varget and BLC-2.
All powder charges were on the lower end of the scale, and moving to mid scale.
Bullet weights were from 150 gr Hornady Interlocks to Hornady and Speer 168 gr BTHP's.
