I agree completely on trigger reset. It is only an issue on the range where you are able to concentrate on it. In competition your mind is occupied with other things and trigger reset becomes irrelevant. Never been in a gun fight, but I'm guessing I wouldn't have time to notice trigger reset...

Exactly. It just gives an option to dry firing the gun to take it down. But dry firing is just so much easier than using the tool.

I almost hesitate to post this because every other thread on this subject seems to become a discussion about how to do it and whether or not to do it. What I am looking for is feedback from people who have actually done it. Any problems or adverse effects? Any unintended consequences?

Love my Shield. Put XS Big Dot sights, Pearce mag extension, and Talon rubber grips on it. Would love an extended mag release.

Can't comment on the PC, but for me a big part of my enjoyment has been adding options to the stock 15-22,like Timney trigger, Mag Pul grip, red dot, and I'm not done yet. I'd rather go this route than the PC route, but that just me.

Got mine today. Like 'em. I got one of the first NDZ's and found the extension that covered the hole in the grip would hang up on the base of my hand when dropping the mag. Now that they offer the option of no extension that would be better or me. The Pearce does not have the extension.

Ordered one to try on a 7 round mag. As others have said you have to push, or slam the plate pretty hard to get it on, but it is well made and fits well. With it I'm able to get a good 3 finger grip and it conceals fine, just about the same as the regular 7 round plate. For me the 8 round mag...
