    Model 19-4 ammo question

    I have a model 19-4 and have heard conflicting information on shooting magnum ammunition through it. Some sources (internet, friends ect) say don't shoot any magnums through the model because the frame and forcing cone are too weak. Others will tell me do not shoot 125 grain rounds in it and so...

    Defense ammo for a model 19

    I want to load my model 19 with a good 38 special home defense round, I do not want to use 357s due to the muzzle blast and noise in a bed room. I am considering remington 158 grSWLHP (fbi load) or remington 125gr +P load that I got on sale a few years back. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks

    S&W Model 15 Heritage Series

    I just looked at the heritage series revolvers. What the list as the model 15 looks to be the model 19 just chambered in 38 +P insted of 357. Am I wrong?
