Need IWB holster for M&P 9c (compact)

It's definitely an IWB holster, not OWB. I wouldn't be able to carry using it if it were OWB. Here is a pic with it using my Beretta 92 M9A1 Compact ...

Need IWB holster for M&P 9c (compact)

I use a Bianchi Allusion (model 25746); I've used it for about two years now and love it. It's made for the M&P but I purchased it long before I had my first M&P. Originally bought it because it was the only holster that fit my Beretta 92 M9A1 Compact, and I quickly found out that my Glocks...

    Police Trade In's

Bud's always seems to have a good selection of fairly cheap Police Trade In's to choose from, and wanted to know if anyone here has purchased them before, and what your overall assessment is? Currently looking at the M&P full size 40 with three mags and night sights for $349 (night sights not...

    Glock 19 or M&P 9mm

This is exactly what I was thinking. While the Glock and the M&P are neck in neck in a lot of ways - they're both very reliable and will get the job done either way. The price point on both for this specific comparison puts the favor more towards the M&P. Even if some would argue the G19 is a...

    Is this a good price?

UPDATE: The more I considered it, the more I took your words into consideration. I went ahead and purchased new from Academy for $449, and then went on CDNN and bought four full size mags for $14.99 each.

    Is this a good price?

I thought maybe the night sights is what would make the price worth it. I'm not sure how much this model with factory night sights costs brand new, I couldn't find that anywhere. The M&Pc after taxes at Academy comes out to $487, so really I'd be paying the extra $38 for three mags, 100 rounds...

    Is this a good price?

Found a deal on a locally listed M&P 40c and am meeting the guy to check it out tomorrow. I wanted to make sure it's a good buy first, sure seems like it. I know that Academy right now has them priced at $449, and I'm paying a bit more ... It's $525 for the M&P 40c, five magazines, factory night...

    Model 6944 Range Report

I have a feeling it has something to do with the slide stop itself, as the slide does not lock back unless I engage the slide stop. The problem seems to be that the slide stop will not go down, releasing the slide, on it's own. If the gun is empty, with no magazine, for instance, and I rack the...

    Model 6944 Range Report

I finally had the chance to head to the range today and shoot the new [to me] 6944 that I picked up last weekend. Now, I've never shot any Third Gen Smith and Wesson, so I had no idea what to expect. All I've read is that they're incredibly reliable and highly underrated. I was pretty excited to...

    Model 6944 Confusion

I will add, that the barrel does not match the slide. The barrel is more of a stainless color, whereas the slide seems to have an *almost* bronze tone in certain light. The hammer matches the slide, as does the recoil guide rod.

    Model 6944 Confusion

Electroless nickel is refinishing option, like from Robar, right? It is very slick/smooth, smudges wipe right off of it with zero effort, so that would make sense. I've heard good things about that sort of refinishing. Here are some more pics that you may be able to tell more from ...

    Model 6944 Confusion

Makes much more sense now, thank you! Makes me feel better, too lol

    Model 6944 Confusion

Another question I have with this model, since it's a DAO model without a decocker - while loading one in the chamber it leaves the hammer half-cocked. Is it safe to carry like that?

    Model 6944 Confusion

Hi guys, first time poster here. I decided to register because an afternoon full of research has brought me no answers, only speculation. Earlier today I made a road trip to one of my favorite gun stores, and saw a beautiful S&W that caught my eye. It was a model 6944. I hadn't really heard of...
