my Shield 40 has a little over 400 rounds through it with no issues, s/n:HPY, date of test fire: 9/10/13 my son also has one s/n: DXY, bought used so not sure of round count, but he's put over 200 rds through it with no issues...test fired 7/23/12

Way too patient IMO, time to get to someone who can get some answers!!!
