    YEah, I just locked the slide back and then did the process of taking the plate off. Once I did that I carefully unlocked the slide and it very easily came off.

    Yeah, as above! Wasn't bad and I had this crazy fear that doing that would wreck the gun...but it seems alright to me. Went to the range yesterday and put about 500 rounds in, tired lol. Now just need to work on my technique. The majority of my shots were left and low of my intended target.

    FIXED! Or at least, trigger assembly is now done correctly. My theory worked out as I removed the back plate and firing pin, which in turn allowed the slide to freely come off. After that was actually putting the trigger assembly back together, properly, and seems to do ok with dry fire. There...

    Hey all, After putting about 500 rounds in my gun my buddy suggested I do a simple trigger upgrade to the Apex kit. Gunsmithing is NOT my thing and he offered to do it for me while I was away on business as he said he's done similar jobs on his pistols. Lesson learned.... Trigger kit...
