Well I took the pistol to the range. Everyone else was at work or school. Shoots smooth as butter. Waiting on the hand-grips before taking my wife and son, well and the range to reopen post deer season.- JoshN

I agree. My 1911 is very comfortable for me to shoot and control. My wife and son both wince every-time they have tried. You could be right, or it might just be scary looking ;) I figured a heavier 38 would tame the recoil they perceive and make them much more comfortable and confident...- JoshN

They are comfortable. They don't fit perfectly but will suffice for now until I get some real wooden ones vice the plastics on there now.- JoshN
