Recently got a Mod,29-2 with wooden box and tool set. 6in.

I got one July 2016. It was great at first, but is back at Smith & Wesson now for the second time after the extractor fell out for the second time. Hope they get it right this time.

Two of my best shooting guns are a 6" Python and a 6" Highway Patrolman.

This sounds like a major problem. It seems like they would have found this when you applied for the permit. Hope you get it resolved okay. Good luck.

You can never have too many Model 19's.

In classes that I've attended there are no loaded firearms allowed in the classroom. This applies to instructors and students. Loaded firearms during training are restricted to the range.

Virginia is legal for open carry, too.

My Victory models are the same way. The V serial number is also on the bottom of the barrel. Those grips are not stock. Both of mine have smooth wood grips.
