I'd take my upgraded shield over a 43 any day, because I can shoot it a lot better. But if I shot the 43 better, then I'd take that, too.

There's a lot of that going around, to be honest. Not on the one I bought a couple of months ago, but there seems to be a bad batch out there.

If you look at the lucky gunner tests, you'll see that stuff like HST and golden saber have no issues filling with denim, and expand MUCH better than XTP. The plastic tip is just one of many ways to prevent that issue. I like Hornady as a company a lot, but their carry ammo is ****.

I think Steve is stating that if there is an issue, the slide isn't necessarily going all the way back far enough to lock. That would definitely cause a stovepipe. I don't think the ammo or gun is causing it, I think the mag follower is dragging on the slide so it doesn't have enough recoil...

I tend to agree. I think it's a mag issue, and he's using the same mags on both guns.

I might think about cleaning and oiling mine when I hit 1000 rounds. I'm probably at 500 now, and I've had it about a month now. Cleaning after every use is a little silly, IMO. I like to know for sure that my gun works dirty ;)

I agree, I was also going to suggest that this may not be the right gun for OP.

The bianchi 100 is actually proving to be pretty darn comfortable, but I still dislike that it cants all over the place. Tried calling milt sparks today and their phone doesn't seem to be working :( Edit: Called again after a few hours and got my order in. Looking forward to it!
