I haven't seen a holster with a rear sight/hammer protection in years. I don't even remember where I saw one, just remember seeing one.

Has anyone used their 38 Super FMJ? I know it is very popular in Mexico because of their caliber restrictions,I just do not know how good this ammo is in 38 Super.

If you have a Barnes #4 reloading manual,look at .416 Remington Magnum,That's me! Great hunt for a total of 33 days in Africa(includes Victoria Falls).I fed a village with my elephant meat.

I'm surprised that I do not see a 38 Super. Colt sells very quickly in 38 Super where I live.

If I am to carry a 32 caliber handgun it would be a Walther PPK or PPK/S. 32acp in FMJ is still a decent self defense round,not my choice,but I like the Walther.

My two favorite hunting cartridges are 257 Weatherby Magnum and 338 Winchester Magnum. If I was going back to Africa I would take a 416 Remington Magnum.

Galco has a VSH set or if you like the strap like the Bianchi they have a half-harness and just also buy the holster.

Sorry,neither the X15 nor Agent is like the 9R. Safariland made a similar holster to the 9R except instead of a metal spring clip inside the holster they used a streach piece of elastic to keep the firearm secure.

I wish Bianchi had not discontinued their 9R as in the picture above. I always liked that holster.

Has anyone tried the VZ grips in G10 High Polish? $75.00 is not a bad price for their grip in Ivory. Looks good on line and reviews posted are good.

My EDC is a 3" 629 and I have no problem carrying it.

I also use the Hogue Gripper #19022. Definately makes shooting easier on the hand.

I think 44 Spl. is a terrific self defense round and recoil is okay for a second shot, if needed.

I changed my EDC about 3 months ago and now carry my 629-6 Deluxe 3" bbl. and have had no problems with weight or concealability. I carry Sig 200gr.JHP in 44 Spl.

Magtech makes a 44 Mag. 240gr.FMJ that is labeled Low-Recoil #44F. There are Cowboy loads in 44 Mag. as well.Answers should depend on what revolver you are shooting. Your question was on Magnum factory loads and there are not many.
