Ok peoples, got a chance to get a model 36 3 in. nickle made about 1973-74 the original box is blue not grey with correct label and all paperwork that matches gun? when did they stop using grey boxes for nickle guns?

model 41 I looked at the s&w 4th edition book and it looks like same grips on 41 and 46. i got the gun from a decesed gent. and here are pic. of side of gun. the shell casing is dated 4-2012 so its a newer gun
