I have had good luck finding 30-30 online. I've tried about every type of ammo there is and I've had the best luck with Hornady Lever Evolution. My model 94 is my favorite rifle...took my first buck with it.

I think 30-30 isn't in large demand compared to 223 9mm 22 etc. since its not in as high demand, ammo makers make less of it. When the panic hit, folks bought EVERYTHING if they had a gun for it. It's going to take a while to see more 30-30 since they produce less of it. Once it does come back...

9c I bought a well used 9c for my first M&P. I own SEVERAL handguns and for some weird reason I am most accurate with my 9c even though it has the shortest barrel and sight radius of all my handguns. It's actually my favorite gun to take to the range. Maybe it just fits my hand right or...

Looking for a leather holster for my 4" 686. I'll mainly be using it to hike/fish with. I'd like something with a thumb snap retention strap so it doesn't fall off if i'm on the 4 wheeler or something. I'd prefer tan/brown, but that's not a deal breaker. I don't need concealment, just a hip...

I'll check the strain screw this weekend. Is there any definite way to tell if the hammer spring has been changed just by looking at it? It IS a sickness, but I don't plan on looking for a cure anytime soon!
