dswancutt it does NOT have the warning message you mentioned below, so mine must have a magazine safety on it. Looks like I will need to use the conventional method (which really isn't that much more difficult) to take down the gun. Thanks!
Hello, new member here. I just received my new M&P 40 pistol and was looking at the take down procedure in the instructions which indicates using the takedown tool and flipping the sear deactivation pin upward, which then allows the slide to be removed from the frame, and this method works fine...
