Could you tell me your opinion about this M27-2 5", please?

Those appear to be German proof marks. The Eagle over N is for smokeless powder proofing and the antler is the Ulm proofing location if memory serves.

    Simple is Good

So I headed out to the range today with my cosmetically challenged 10-6 and my 6" 28-2. I was dropping the steel plates with my 38 reloads thru the 10 while struggling to do the same with 357s in the 28. I do have a bit of a flinch with the 357 truth be told - but you can definitely tell when...

    Pinned, HB Model 10-6

So I finally was able to shoot it today. I put 20 rounds of Magtech 158 gr FMJ and ~40 rounds of my home-rolled 158 gr Extreme plated non+P and +P Winchester 572 loads thru it. I can see why people over the years have enjoyed shooting Model 10s. It is combat accurate if you do your part when...

44 Mag plinking load w/240 gr lead swc

Try the 7.5 gr Unique load or 8.0 gr of Power Pistol. That should fill the bill.

    158g Plated bullets for 38?

FWIW....I shoot Extreme plated 158 gr bullets in my 38s and 357s with Hodgdon's data for Winchester 572 in both standard and +P loads. No issues with stuck bullets.

    Pinned, HB Model 10-6

dwcopple, Yes, I would recommend getting one - just realize it'll strictly be a shooter. Hit it with a Frontier Big 45 cleaner and your favorite CLP and then enjoy. It seems like BGS has been shipping out some pretty interesting ones the past couple of weeks.

    So, how did I do?

I checked the lock up as suggested by RobertJ. and it does lock up like a bank vault. I like this little revolver more and more...

    Pinned, HB Model 10-6

I cleaned the revolver up tonight and the barrel and chambers came out beautiful and drama free. Definitely a well used but not abused piece. There is some stacking on the DA pull but the SA release is nice. Just awaiting a grip screw for my mismatched magnas (left panel is plain but the...

    So, how did I do?

I cleaned up the DS tonight and there is some holster wear on some of the rounded edges but I'd still put it at a 90-95% revolver. Looking at the recoil shield, there aren't a lot of marks and I would say the revolver has not been shot a lot. Maybe some holstering and re-holstering but not too...
