I love my PC carbine. Combat and varmint accurate and reliable. I put the Magpul Backpacker stock on mine which lightened it by .6 pound and really improved the way it feels.
I have both. Both are accurate and have been reliable for me. The big difference is, at the range, I can shoot as many rounds as I want through the
BG 2.0 very comfortably. With the LCP MAX, I have to put it away after about 20 or 30. I’m 74 with arthritic hands and the BG 2.0 was a godsend...
This is the exact reason I bought the 632 UC. I didn’t particularly want to add another caliber to my collection, but the extra round over my 642, and less recoil has been just what my old arthritic hands needed.
I have never shot any Federal Classic in mine, but Federal Punch, CCI, and Gold Dots all shoot POA. Good luck with your 351PD. Mine is one of my favorite revolvers.
When I first started carrying in the mid 90s, my gun was a 4” Anaconda.
I now carry a J frame or a Bodyguard 2.0.
If you find a 629 MG works for you, go for it.
I shoot my 642 and Detective Specials at the range regularly. I find, for me,
that if I can stay proficient with them, I can shoot any of my auto loaders much better.
Big fan here. I have a PPK from S&W, (which everyone seems to hate) but has been extremely reliable and accurate for me. In my opinion, a very safe gun to handle and carry.
