Ended up getting the mk 4 hunter hopefully going to clean it and go to the backyard and shoot after work tomorrow and see how it does thanks for all the input I guess next on the list will be a 617.

Considering a 6 inch 617. Years ago I had a mk 3 hunter was a very accurate gun but traded it like a dummy..anyway was wondering if the 617 is a better gun is it as accurate as a ruger hunter. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

Was finally able to shoot my 629. Was shooting at 20 yards rested once dialed in was able to have 5 out of 6 rounds touching..always one gets away. Then shot my 29-2 . Which is not nearly as accurate was very surprising to see the new out shoot the old wondering if anyone else has seen this...

Hello I recently acquired a 629-8 which I believe has a better trigger and is more accurate than my 29-2. Anyway gun has a six inch barrel wondering what everyone is using to carry them around thanks in advance

Thinking about trading my 686-6 plus 4 inch for a 629 -8 6 inch I already own a 29-2 6 inch barrel. Any opinions would be appreciated thanks in advance

686 I would like to carry the revolver hiking or camping or hell even to the store would also prefer some concealabiility

Just purchased one today at field and stream with a great discount. I love my 29-2 but I think this is such a great shooting and well balanced handgun. I enjoy shooting it more than my 29 . Have never shot any 686 before but I think it's going to be my favorite gun anyone else like them that...

Just got my first 29-2 at the gun show today. And it's in great shape was wondering what type of gun oil is good to use on the bluing. I always use eezox or break free clp on my other guns and was not sure what is safe or what everyone else uses thanks for the help
