I too just purchased a 9 mm Performance Center Shield and took it to the range for the first time today. I was shooting 115 grain Blazer Brass FMJ. Halfway through the 3rd or 4th magazine, the slide locked to the rear and wouldn't budge. I released the magazine and fiddled with it for awhile...

Here's the Allen carry bag I finally ended up with: Allen S&W M&P Tactical Rifle Case 38" 1200D Nylon Black MP4230 Not exactly discreet, but it is very well made with thick padding and is a bargain at this price. Very nicely done S&W logo.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Leapers/UTG red dots for the money. I have their Bug Buster 3x9 AO scope on my 15-22 and am really impressed with the quality.

Griz, Thanks for the heads up!:) I was finally able to order some mags early this morning - it has been a long dry spell.

Here's a photo of my Leapers/UTG 3x9 scope mounted on an 8-slot 1/2" riser. The scope clears the rear Magpul MBUS just fine. BTW, an excellent scope for the money.
