I ended up drilling the head with a number 10 bit and using this spline extractor to get it out. Waiting on new screw from Smith so in the mean time I just dremeled a slot in the screw for a flat blade driver and all is good. Hanson (HAN52202) 5/32 SPLINE EXT. - Spline Shank Bits - Amazon.com
