Bob Cogan APW did one for me a few years ago dash 2 6.5 barrel,looks just like it.Very nice piece.

Yea wish it had the factory combats but ones that are on it feel good in the hand.Might find some combats sometime though.

5 screw Could not get pics to load,no proof marks only the S&W trademark and made in USA on frame in front of sideplate.It has a full ejector rod that extends out within .125 inch of the end of barrel.38 specials won't load down in the cylinder must be 38 S&W, it appears to only lock up in the...

Traded for an old 5 screw that the fellow told me was made in 1943 it is a snub 2 inch barrel, (i think) good shape and has a nickel finish.Ser.no. 727876 any info will be appreciated. Thanks KLW

I have a 3 inch Classic Hunter (629-2)made in 1988 that is one of 3200 so there were different barrel lenghts of the Classic Hunter.(5000 6 inch 2500 8 3/8.) Pics are not working.

I have one that looks exactly like it with ser.number K 119763.Mine even has the same looking grips,great shooters.I gave mine to my dad back in the 70's and found it in my moms sock drawer right before xmas.She had forgot about having it.It is a 1951 made.

I have a 629-2 w/unfluted cyl.99% no box or docs the fine folks here told me it was one of 3200 from 88-89 would consider selling or trade for the same or better w/fluted cyl.Ser.prefix is BBW

Yea just bought a dash one off of GB have had several over the years planning on keeping this one.Seems like other friends and such allways talk me out of them.

I have seen 629-2 with the E after the 2 is that meant to designate the endurance package.
