    looking at sights

I looked hard at the Primary Arms micro dot, but I ended up with the Vortex Sparc II because of both positive reviews, and the lifetime warranty. I co-witnessed it with the Sport supplied BUIS-the combo has been awesome so far.

    M&P 15 Sport as a first AR-15

What makes magnetic particle testing necessary? I don't think any of my other guns have had that done, and they have all worked fine since the 1970's. The Sport is a excellent first AR, had mine for almost two years, and is a blast to shoot.

    SLEEP SAFE AT NIGHT

Both of my alarms were rescued, they make up for my poor hearing.

Primary Arms Advanced Micro Dot- MD-ADS

I appreciate your write up on this optic, and please update as you see fit. I became an AR owner last year, and have been using it with a LMT carry handle. Although I do enjoy shooting my M&P with the irons, I have been thinking about getting a red dot to help my 56 year old eyes. I only use...

    S&W Revolver ID

S&W Revolver ID The trigger must also not be stock, it is wider than what I'm seeing of other examples. Any thoughts on that? If anyone can give me a ball park value, I'd appreciate it. Even though it's mine now, my brother recently said, "it's yours, just pay me what you think if fair." I...

    S&W Revolver ID

My dad was right handed. He retired with over 30 years from the police force in 86, but I know this was not his service gun.

    S&W Revolver ID

One on side of the grip frame the following is inscribed(not stamped), A140325-Q. And what looks like GM after that. These don't look like original grips, what would this gun have come with from the factory? And of course, any idea of value?

    S&W Revolver ID

I guess this should be moved to S&W Hand Ejectors: 1896 to 1961

    S&W Revolver ID

Thanks for the quick reply, I read the sticky "after" I posted. It is a .357 magnum, barrel length just under 5", post war adjustable sights, serial number is S173xxx. Yes, the cylinder serial number matches the frame, minus the "S". Edited to add, there is a star on the yoke area, as well on...

    S&W Revolver ID

I know very little about revolvers, and have recently acquired my dad's revolver. I can't seem to find a model number on it anywhere...any ideas? I do know the gun belonged to him at least as early as 1975...but don't have any other memory of it. I'd appreciate any help in identifying this gun.
