Has anyone found that the firing pin on the Mod 642-1 does not not always strike the primer with enough force to fire the cartridge? Thanks. Bob

There is no punch line about the white substance. I can't explain it. I was in the process of reloading when the machine froze up. I removed the powder measure and when I removed the toolhead plate I found the powder funnel was clogged up and powder spilled out on the bench.

I have been using this powder measure for 25 years and had the first problem last week. I was reloading .45 auto cartridges with 4 grains of Bullseye when the machine jammed. I removed the powder measure and the dies and found some powder backup. After pulling some of the bullets I found some...

I started reloading in 1959. Still have 3 Square Deal 2 machines mounted on the bench.

It took six weeks before I received mine.

I used a Lyman turret press for many years. In 1988 had a flood, 4 feet of water in the house, ruined everything, so I bought a Dillon Square Deal. Never looked back.
