    "Deluxe" Engraved Texas Ranger 19-3

Thank you for sharing that beautiful work of Art. That is such a beautiful thing to look at and to take in. I once worked as an engraver, but it was a totally different type of engraving. I have watched videos of how this type of engraving is done and I must say that I am in awe of that type of...

Should I get the 442 Pro Series, Standard 442, or 642?

I have a model 442, without the lock. I have carried it in a leather pocket holster for about ~four years now and I have not seen any signs of rust. I live in North Carolina and our summers here tend to be hot with high humidity. But so far, no sign of any rust anywhere. I did install an...

Age old question. What CCW for elderly

My 2 cents... I'm sorry if this has already been mentioned…I have not read every reply. The suggestion of the j-frame sized .22 magnum seems like a good suggestion. I do not know the model numbers, but Beretta and Browning have a somewhat lightweight .380 that comes in two different magazine...

    A 9 mm j-frame

I've heard the same rumor. Massad Ayoob, mentioned on another forum that he, too had heard the same rumor. Then he said that it was at this point, simply a rumor. And I might be imagining this, but I believe he also said that it was rumored to be built on the same frame as S&W's new polymer...

    A 9 mm j-frame

I agree. I am pretty sure that is the same thing they do with the model 625!

    Gun Show 617...You like?

Those are some great looking revolvers. I have wanted a model 617 for a while now. I finally found one at a gun show here in Hickory and for some reason it just didn't "feel" right. I passed on it. I still want one. Maybe one day.

    Well Armed You Say?

This is a really good thread. It is nice to see folks disagree and remain friendly and polite. I felt the need to mention what happened to me way back in 1987. I was 22 at the time and had been married for 4 days when this occurred. To make a long story short... I was shot 4 times by a guy using...

Thank you. I hope that somebody at S&W reads these forums.

    A 9 mm j-frame

Hello everyone. My wish is for a 9 mm j-frame revolver like the model 940. Offer it with a 2.5 inch barrel in stainless steel. And I really wish they would make a model 625 revolver in .45 ACP with a five inch barrel.
