The stock tube has to be changed.

I love mine. Way better than factory. I put one on my Windham 223 also and may put a SD-E on my Windham 308.

I'm sorry you had so much trouble with yours. Mine shoots about 2" groups with bulk ammo at 100yds. I have also bought a Windham 308 and like it but it needs a different trigger. You may want to check them out. It has a lifetime transferrable warranty.

Just about all I shoot is the cheap bulk ammo and the only problem I have had was because of a defective pmag.

****. A guy at my lgs put my handguard on. I hope he has one. The spring on my cover is broke also.

I'm sure this has been covered but my search function doesn't work. After installing the free float handguard my dust cover is loose. Where can I get a new pin?

This is at 100 yds with some reloads someone gave me. This was before the PRS install but it's still shooting the same. I didn't take any pics of the last target.

I broke down and ordered the PRS, A2 tube and spacer. Thanks for the post on how to do it and what was needed.

I would have it on my rifle now except for the pita factory gas block roll pin. My lgs ordered a new gas tube for the YHM low profile gas block I'm putting on. I'll update when it's done.

I was wrong. They don't make a 10" for the 308 so I ordered a 12".

I've got a JP enterprises brake on mine that works well.
