I have an AG OWB paddle holster for my 1.0 fullsize and my 2.0 compact fits perfectly in side. No slop at all. It fits so well I probably won't even buy the correct shell. FYI.
Shield is a single stack sub-compact, 1.0 9c is a double stack compact. I don't understand the confusion. A lot of other manufacturers follow this same model. Glock has the 17 fullsize, 19 compact, 26 sub-compact and 43 single stack sub-compact.
The old 9c will be replaced by the 2.0 sub-compact. My guess is around SHOT show or early summer. The 2.0 compact was an addition to the line, not a replacement for the 9c which has always been a sub-compact any ways.
I recently bought a new BG with no laser and no thumb safety. I ran through ball point with no issues then my PD hollow points with no issues either. Took a few shots to figure out my grip and trigger pull but after that I was very accurate. It has become my EDC as of late, I feel a lot more...
I just put some rounds through my new no safety BG and I love it for a pocket pistol. The pull is long but smooth and I became accurate enough for a carry pistol after 10 or 15 rounds. Much more accurate than I ever was with my J-frame. I don't like to modify defense pistols so I will be...
I really like the FNS 9c. A lot. My next purchase is going to be a compact 9 double stack. As far as polymer pistols go I love my M&P's and really like the FNS and HK's. When cross shopping I was between the FNS and M&P 9c. Both are great guns, shoot great, feel great and are priced well. I...
I have never had anything bad to say about my trigger. I recently found out that I actually have the upgraded "H" trigger bar which could be why. It us a little gritty by you're right, I don't notice it when shooting.
I had the same problem with my shield 9. I thought it was a magazine problem, I even had S&W swap one out (which they did with out issue). It was driving me nuts and I was really starting to question the gun for self defense. I ran through every type of ammo from reloads to brass casing to...
I bought my shield without a safety and just bought the new M&P Bodyguard without a safety. The best safety you can have is the one between your ears. The cops that shoot themselves usually have been trained with firearms that have safeties and they rely on them to protect negligent gun...
If I bought a new car with a dent on the inside of the frame rail I wouldn't give a damn, no. If it doesn't impede the functionality and can't be viewed with the gun fully assembled, who cares?? It's a mass produced, middle of the road gun, not a $1k+ Kimber.
My FS 9 has been flawless and has eaten any and all ammo I run through it. I did not clean it before my first range outing however on my brand new shield I experienced a stove pipe, cleaned it up and never had that issue again. That too eats any rounds I run through it. I think you'll be fine...
Exactly, I think too many people get wrapped around the wheel with group size with a self defense weapon. As long as I can stop a threat at 10 yards, I have faith in the weapon. You don't need to put 7 rounds in a 2" area unless you're being attacked by a broom stick.
I haven't shot either but after holding both at my LGS I would lean towards the LCP. Just felt better in my hands. I have to shoot both before my final verdict though.
