Found them in my yard... Took them to the studio for some glamour shots with my 9L. Dare to pull the trigger? :D *no bugs were harmed in making of these photos, they were released back to where they were found.

Mag disconnect - any adverse effects

not much concern if it's a range gun. plus you can remove it in literally less than 5 min, just need to cut a small piece of spring from a ballpoint pen to hold the pressure of the empty area on the pin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6yAlmIAetk

    DIY Talon Grips, hell yeah.

Skateboard Grip Tape!!! The tape is 9"x33" for $4.99 or less shipped. You can make 10+ full coverage talon grips with this much tape  And they got different colors as well... Get pink or orange for ladies. I used scissors to cut the tape, not too hard. If you want to go precise you might...

    problems with apex fss kit...

Sounds like after reset the trigger is not cocked automatically, but then you slightly rack the slide, the trigger gets manually cocked, and then you can proceed to fire the round? Maybe worn parts like the Sear spring? Is your sear plunger 1/8" or 1/16"? Trigger bar? Have you done the Trigger...

The replacement sear housing block from a .45 performed flawlessly at range. Wife's first time using my M&P and the result looks pretty satisfactory to me.

What happens if I send modified pistol to S&W for warranty?

Ouch... Yeah, will definitely spend some time to swap out aftermarket parts before send in for warranty or repair. Nothing's broken yet, only shot abt 300 rounds so far:D

What happens if I send modified pistol to S&W for warranty?

Just curious... I got Apex FSS and aftermarket sights installed on my M&P 9L. If I send it in to S&W for repair/warranty, will they deny to service my pistol? Or will they tell me that they gonna charge me $$$ for replacement parts because I voided the warranty? Keeping all my stock parts in...

Which Sear Housing to buy, now they are in stock?

Howdy, So I just got my 9L last month, got my Apex FSS and posted a few pix before. It had the old sear housing with 1/16 plunger and spring. It fires just fine for now but Apex said I need to use the new sear spring and plunger that's 1/8" in size. The gun is made in Sep 2012 and have a thumb...

Yeah... I thought "aircraft grade aluminum" is gonna be as tough as a good steel sight... nope... Now my gun looks uber ugly... Miraculously I got the sights straight in the middle before I completely destroyed my front sight... Got the Williams Fire Sights from eBay, decent price, but this...
