NO reliability issues whatsoever I have had NO reliability issues whatsoever and I have 1000 rounds through it with only a boresnake swipe after every use. Finally took it all apart today and thoroughly cleaned it.

For bulls-eye competitions, after how many rounds do you take the Model 41 apart to do a detailed cleaning? How often do you just swipe the barrel with a boresnake? Just curious.

What I really want to do is eliminate the safety altogether. I never use it, it is in the way and annoying as heck when it goes on in the middle of a string. There must be a way to remove it altogether.

I wear gloves shooting my M41. The bulk of the gloves hits the safety and it goes on when I am in the middle of a string. Can anyone provide me with step-by-step instruction on how to remove the safety?
