I just put a next level armament scythe on mine. Works perfectly. So perhaps they refined their design in the last 5 years. It’s also about the only one available here in the U.K.

Luckily the spring was still in the grip. Thankfully a member of this very forum makes some great videos on many aspects of the 15-22, changing the safety was one of them, so all sorted, now got a very nice 30 degree safety on the gun instead of the 90 degree one.

Think I found the part name - safety selector detent - need to find out how to reinstall it now- thank god for YouTube!
