Master Revolver Action Package: Yes or No?

The model i got was sold with a master action package with it. I tried looking it up, but i think it was discontinued. It originally came with a front fiber red sight and rear steel sight.

Master Revolver Action Package: Yes or No?

I got the 5" 686 plus performance center gun that comes with the master action package. It did have an amazing trigger. But ceased to fire Cci primered rounds reliably after about 900 rounds. Partially and probably due to the ribbed mainspring. I had to replace the mainspring on mine - just to...

Best moon clips for 327 TRR8

I like the Ranch products 8 shot moonclips for the 627/327's. They fit starline brass and Winchester, perfectly. I don't remember how many years ago I purchased mine- but I'm using the same clips.

Looks like I have a Problem. Need help.

Just going to echo that the factory is the best option in my experience for a broken pin. With years of service after a work well done. I think it may have taken them only 3 months on my repair. And the cost wasn't that much. See trigger pin job below.

    Keg of old powder

Kinda looks like some vihtavouri that I bought during the last powder scare. I forget what # it was, but it was a white grain color. A little more uniform looking. It was a great ( expensive) powder. With no discernible smell to it. Just curious as to what that powder is.

What was your first Smith and Wesson??

My first Smith and Wesson revolver was a 686 6". I've had 4 , 686, 6" ers. I still have two of them. But not the first one. Wow. Made it sound like a school math problem. 😅

    38 wadcutters

Those 44 wadcutters look like fun! I wonder if anyone can recommend an outfit that sells em? Coated hopefully. Pouring lead is something I will not do anymore. I did it for 25 years and that's it for me. " the world is your oyster " very true....

38 special brass- what brand do you like by best? Any to avoid?

Specifically with 38 specials, I recently had a problem with "aguila" and " pmc" cases, buckling while loading them with wadcutters. My preference would be Winchester cases followed by starline.

    machining extractor star

I put a titanium cylinder on my R8. The way I did it was i unscrewed the original extractor from the old steel cylinder. It worked! No way was i going to time 8 ratchets correctly. Anywho, I shot it a couple times. With shorts , it worked fine. No shaving- cylinder stopped perfectly. Even...

    Shield Plus slide compatibility question

I was sold a M&P shield OR slide at Turner's Outdoorsman in California, for my regular shield. It does not have a loaded chamber indicator required by the state . The slides part # 3015613. The website says it fits a 1.0,2.0 and plus models. When you buy it, it should replace your slide with...
