I bought a used 66-2 4" barrel in excellent condition with box and papers. I don't have any other K or L frames to compare this gun to. The serial no. on frame visible when cylinder is opened is not the same no. on yoke, are they suppose to be or is yoke no. a part number? Need some advice.

TruGlo customer service answered my e-mail and said their sights for M&P would fit Shield with a slight overhang. They will be coming out with a narrower sight base to fit Shield with no overhang.

I have a 9mm and its shoots great and carries well. Now I want to had some tritium sights, but I am unable to find any except XS sights that say they fit the Shield. Does anyone have NS on their Shield and what kind. Thanks
